K-LOVE Returns to McDowell at Martinsville

K-LOVE and Michael McDowell have been a well known combination over McDowell's career. The combination has been about as well as STP and Richard Petty. K-Love is a Christian Music radio station broadcasted to over 12 million listeners each week in cities including Chicago, Denver, Des Moines, Nashville, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Diego, and Seattle. K-LOVE is also the sixth-most online-streamed station in the world. At The Daytona 500 in 2012. K-LOVE Sponsored McDowell's Cup ride for the first time, Having sponsored McDowell numerous times in what is now known as the Xfinity Series. Since that race in 2012 McDowell has had at least one race sponsored by K-LOVE Radio. McDowell's best finish with K-LOVE on board was in 2013 when Michael finished 9th in the 2013 Daytona 500. In Michael's first attempt in the 2014 Season at Daytona, K-LOVE was on board but the team missed the Daytona 500. A
total of 14 Races, K-LOVE has been seen on the #95 Ford Fusion and coming this weekend at Martinsville will adorn the #95 Chevrolet SS. McDowell has raced at the Martinsville Speedway 10 times over his career with a best finish of 26th twice. Once in 2008 and another in 2013. In fact McDowell made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut here in 2008 driving for Michael Waltrip Racing. McDowell and his Circle Sport Leavine Family Racing Team will look to continue momentum so far built up from the first 5 races of the season. McDowell currently sits 32nd in points and will look to gain spots. McDowell will have an off weekend next weekend in Texas as Ty Dillon will take over the #95 unless he takes over the #14 for Tony Stewart. McDowell could fill in for Smoke.
