Are You Feeling Lucky? - Martinsville Edition

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series comes to the Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville Speedway and it's certainly has it's dominators like many of the other tracks. If you want a first time winner, in the past I would tell you you were insane. Now with the new rule package I almost think you may be pointing out a high possibility especially with the drivers who have not won once in their career. It will certainly be one to watch as it is the first short track of the 2016 Season and I think it could be the best of the season so far.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pick Four!

Joey Logano

After a certain confrontation in 2015 Logano has really rebounded. So far this season Logano has not made friends on his way making an enemy out of Martin Truex Jr. two weeks ago in California. Still without a win Logano continues to gain after his loss in 2015. Logano has been really good at Martinsville just no win to show for it. If the confrontation did not happen last season I think Logano would have went on to win the race and probably the Championship. Joey is one of my picks for the victory this weekend in Martinsville!

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

With already one win at Martinsville, Dale Earnhardt Jr. certainly has to be a favorite to win this weekend's race. Which to Jr Nation he's the favorite every weekend. Jr. has been on a roller coaster as of late but I think his time is coming. I think Jr, could win his second Martinsville Race this weekend and I think it's highly possible that it could be the first of many in 2016. If Jr won it could also help rise ratings and attendance because that's what it always does. If Jr. wins this weekend it's best for Business.

Ryan Newman

When it comes to tracks like Martinsville and New Hampshire there is no one better than Ryan Newman. Newman has always had one of those Modified Style driving styles and well short tracks are where the Modifieds race. Ryan has a win at Martinsville but was with Stewart Haas at the time. Ryan Newman has been on a run really since he joined Richard Childress Racing and I think that Ryan could return the 31 to victory lane on Sunday and land the #31 Car also in the Chase.

Ryan Blaney

A Driver who has never raced at the Martinsville Speedway in a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Car may surprise you being on this list. Blaney has impressed me this season which is no surprise but I think Blaney's first race at Martinsville in the cup series could be a first win. Look how well he runs at Bristol in the Trucks and Xfinity Series. I think we could see Blaney in victory lane in the Wood Brothers return home!

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Pick Four!

Daniel Hemric

I have a feeling Daniel Hemric move to Brad Keselowski Racing could pay off this weekend in Martinsville. Daniel Hemric has done very well in the last 2 NASCAR Camping World Truck Races at Daytona and Atlanta and I could see the series getting it's third Chase Lock in with Hemric. Hemric has really impressed me over the last seasons and when he runs those neon colors it's like he shines brighter than ever. I think Hemric could deliver the win to BKR and help his teammate Reddick get one soon!

Ryan Truex

At first the Hattori Racing Enterprises Toyota Tundra was not on the entry list and it worried many people. Especially considering how well Truex has ran so far in 2016. Almost winning the season opener at Daytona in February and running well at Atlanta the guy sits 6th place in points. Ryan Truex has raced at Martinsville just not in the Truck Series. This team could be in the final four at least that is what I am predicting and I think Martinsville could be where Truex could steal his first Career win. Be sure to keep an eye on Truex.

Parker Kligerman

Parker has been the surprise story of 2016 and well he sits as the points leader heading into this weekends race. Kligerman surely has shown he deserves to be behind the wheel and is building back a empire he had before Swan Racing fell through. Kligerman could be the one who takes Ford to victory lane for the first time this season and fans would love to see him win his first career race and I could see him do very well in the chase and could very well make it to the final four at Homestead.

Rico Abreu

Rico has the dirt track background to be good at Martinsville and I think Rico could do amazing behind the wheel at Martinsville. Despite never having made a start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Martinsville I feel Rico may rise above the challenge and surprise not only the fans but other drivers. The real question is, Can Rico do any of those Wheelie Donuts in a Truck?
