Jimmie Johnson Ties Dale Earnhardt Sr. on Wins List with Win at Atlanta

Jimmie Johnson wins his 76th race at Atlanta tying him with Dale Earnhardt Sr. on the All time winner list. Johnson won Today's race in Overtime after a large wreck on the backstretch involving notably Aric Almirola and David Ragan. Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s son Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished second to Johnson. Kyle and Kurt Busch finish 3rd and 4th. Carl Edwards rounded out the Top 5. In a race filled with a calm begining and a wild ending Johnson from Kevin Harvick on the Last Lap (2nd to last if you ask some fans.) Another win for Johnson his 5th.

NASCAR News Source Driver of The Week

Kyle Busch failed Post Qualifying Inspection on Friday Night which caused him to lose his pole starting position. Kyle had to start at the rear of the field today and he still managed a 3rd place finish! Kyle Busch is on the verge of victory very soon in my opinion. He returns home to Vegas next weekend maybe he can pull the Jackpot and win at Home! We would like to congratulate Kyle Busch on becoming the newest NASCAR News Source Driver of The Week! Congrats on your W yesterday too!

Next Weekends Race

Next Weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Vegas for the Kobalt 400! This begins the West Coast Swing. The driver who led the most laps today in Atlanta is the defending winner of the last 2 races and that guy's name is Kevin Harvick. This is where buisness picks up and I can see drivers doing things they normally would not do to make the Chase and get a win that way the clock doesn't tick anymore for them.
