Chase Elliott holds off Defending Daytona 500 Winner to Win The PowerShares QQQ 300!

After a very eventful Truck Race Friday Night it was the Xfinity Series turn to take the spotlight and they sure did it with some exciting racing.  A rather calm race sort of with only 3 major incidents that did not involve more than 3 cars. Chase Elliott stayed around the front a majority of the day, getting used to where he will start tomorrow's 58th Annual Daytona 500. Joey Logano had the chance to wreck Chase at the end but did not take the chance which gained many fans respect. "Once he pushed us up toward the wall I knew our momentum was shot and we couldn't get passed him with that little amount of distance to go ." stated Joey Logano, last years winner of the Daytona 500. Joey Logano, Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler, and Austin Dillon rounded out the Top 5.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver of The Week

After having a very successful first run with the newly formed Kaulig Racing Blake Koch earned this award. Blake stayed up front a majority of the race and landed in 9th place finishing spot. Blake continues to impress fans and I am sure with impressed fans more sponsors may sign with Blake. I could honestly see Blake's first win coming very soon in his career. Blake seems to be with a team that is more competitive than the ones he has raced for in the past and I could see it pay off. It's rare to see a team come out of the gate this well so maybe we are a witness to something very special out of this #11 Camp! Congrats Blake on Becoming the First Xfinity Series Driver of The Week!

Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, and Kasey Kahne are not eligible for points so Elliott Sadler is the points leader heading to the next race in Atlanta. No driver locked into the Chase this weekend as a Cup Regular took a victory from the Xfinity Series Regulars.

Next Race

After a rather Calm PowerShares QQQ 300 at the Daytona International Speedway, the Atlanta Motor Speedway lays in wait for the NASCAR Xfintiy Series where names are made. Kevin Harvick is the defending winner of this race and if in the field Saturday will certainly be a favorite. I see a lot of  green flag action next Saturday Afternoon and I am predicting we will see that on Xfinity Series Regular that will dominate this season will rise!
