Kaulig Racing Announces Formation... Veteran Driver Behind the Wheel

NASCAR Xfinity Series Veteran Blake Koch has a new home for 2016 with a new Manufacturer, Team, Car Number and Alliance! Blake has been in the NASCAR Xfinity Series now for 8 years in 2016. Blake has driven for many Team Owners over the past years including most recently with Mark Smith and Tri-Star Motorsports. Blake has been here and there over his career but has always seemed to be around Racing. I personally met Blake through a friend of Mine and he is a great Christian Guy. In 2016 Blake will drive for the newly formed Kaulig Racing which is owned by Matt Kaulig, the owner and president of LeafFilter Gutter Protection which has been Blake's
sponsor for almost 3 years. That car that Blake will be running in 2016 will be the #11 Chevrolet with LeafFilter Gutter Protection as the primary sponsor. The team will have a Richard Childress Racing alliance in 2016 where Blake will have a very large opportunity at making the inaugural Xfinity Series Chase field of 12 Drivers. Industry veteran Chris Rice will serve as both the General Manager and crew chief for Koch during the 2016 season. He worked with the Florida racer once before at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2013, leading Koch to a career-best finish of 11th with RAB Racing. (Koelle,2016)
