After coming off a very successful 2015 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Athenian Motorsports has revealed they are the first official entry into the Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona next month.John Wes Townley will be behind the wheel of the car as he seeks his 2nd Daytona ARCA Win. John Wes won at Daytona for Venturini Motorsports in 2013. While announcing that they would race the Lucas Oil 200 they also revealed that they would be running a part time schedule in 2016. John Wes Townley is expected to return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series where he won at Las Vegas last season driving for Athenian Motorsports truck team and finished 8th in NCWTS points. Expect Townley to return to victory lane again in 2016 and be a contender for the Championship in the Truck Series! (Koelle, 2016)
