With his impressive comeback and dominating performance at Homestead Kyle really deserved this award. The Fans Spoke about who the driver of the year and the result really surprised me. Congratulations to Kyle on your first Championship and Becoming the NASCAR News Source Driver Of The Year!

Most Improved Driver Of The Year - Martin Truex Jr.
The Underdog Story of 2015 has had to be Martin Truex Jr with Furniture Row Racing. This team only led one lap in 2014 and looked to overcome so much adversity and so many nay sayers. They did. They won a race at Pocono, the teams first win since Darlington in 2011 and Truex Jr.'s first win since 2013. Truex improved a lot over his past and despite only going to victory lane one the team needs to celebrate how consistent they were in 2015 and build off of it for 2016!

Underdog Of The Year - Michael McDowell
Michael McDowell over came a lot of Adversity in his 2nd Season at Leavine Family Racing. After missing the Daytona 500 in 2014, McDowell came back to Daytona in February of this year with a mission of making the 2015 Daytona 500. The Practice before Qualifying McDowell showed his speed by leading that practice. Group Qualifying did not go as planned but McDowell still managed to race his way in the Budweiser Duels. McDowell's Team Leavine Family Racing Had a fire in May but continued on with help from Team Penske. We congratulate Michael McDowell for becoming the NASCAR News Source Underdog of the year!

Best Paint Scheme of 2015 - Brad Keselowski Genuine Draft from Michigan
This paint scheme was the most popular among NASCAR Fans. In 2015 Brad Keselowski and Team Penske helped celebrate 25 Years of Miller Sponsorship with numerous paint schemes like the 1997 Paint Scheme from the All Star Race and Miller High Life that Bobby Allison ran many years ago that was raced at Darlington in September but The Genuine Draft Car that Rusty Wallace made famous. Many fans would love to see this car go full time again so Team Penske Make it Happen!!

Race Of The Year - Campingworld.com 500 at Talladega
This was probably the toughest category for all series. This one had many races that were good but one really seemed to stick out to fans. This of course was the race that ended Dale Earnhardt Jr.s' Championship Run. This was one of the most controversial races I have ever attended. This was the race that really set the bar for Joey Logano as being the most Hated Driver Of 2015.

OMG Moment Of The Year!! - Austin Dillons' Crash at Daytona
The wreck that many people thought would be the end of Austin Dillon. This was a moment that left many people's heart stopped and many could not believe what just happened. This will certainly be a wreck that is talked about for many years to come. This was a wreck that really helped show how far the safety measures have gone over the years!

Driver Of The Year - Chris Buescher
The fans really spoke on this award as all votes that were casted except for one went to Chris Buescher. Many people were impressed with Buescher from day one in the Xfinity Series. The Domination in the Xfinity Series and winning the championship in great fashion. Many believe that Buescher is ready for the cup series but as far as I am concerned I think if you have a solid ride stay in that ride. Congratulations to Chris On the Driver Of The Year Honors!

The fans certainly spoke of 2 drivers when it came to the next 2 awards and well each of the 2 got one award. Firstly Ryan Sieg won Most Improved Driver of The Year as many fans really looked at Ryan as the most improved. Ryan was seen on TV numerous times and not for wrecking either. Ryan was racing many of the series top stars in numerous races of 2015! We congratulate Ryan on his Most Improved Driver Award!

Over the 2015 Season you would hear more and more about Joey Gase. The great things he would do for sick kids, finishing well, or just being Joey Gase! Joey got his first Top 5 in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career. Joey also was awarded the Comcast Community Champion Award for his work with Donate Life. We congratulate Joey Gase on becoming the NASCAR News Source Underdog Of The Year!

This car was one of the coolest looking paint schemes ran in 2015. Chattanooga, TN based company Supportmillitary.org with Dell Hamilton Jr. had last sponsored a team in 2014 with Tri Star Motorsports. This paint scheme was one of the best according to the fans and I have to agree! Congratulations to Joey Gase, Dell Hamilton Jr., and Jimmy Means Racing on winning Best Paint Scheme of 2015!

Race Of The Year - 2015 Alert Today Alive Tomorrow 300 at Daytona
The Racing, The Wrecks, The Winner was all the recipe for the race to win Race of the Year. With lots of side by side racing during the race this had to be one of the most watched races of 2015 and the attendance was up also. I was in attendance for this race and was amazed by the wrecks that took place along with who won. This race was certainly the cornerstone for the 2015 Xfinity Series Season!
Runner Up - 2015 Food City 300 at Bristol
OMG Moment Of The Year - Kyle Busch's Crash at Daytona
This wreck was the cornerstone for the whole season in NASCAR. Kyle Busch was racing with Erik Jones when both got loose sending Kyle Busch into the inside wall that was unprotected from Safer Barriers. Kyle would have a broken leg which would send Kyle Busch out of the Daytona 500 among other races up to the All Star Race. Kyle would return and win the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship. This was one crash that just sent people in shock.

Driver Of The Year - Jordan Anderson
The fans spoke about their favorite driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was and that driver was Jordan Anderson. Jordan absolutely deserves this award as he has been up there in underfunded equipment with a truck that he drives across the country to get it in the Show. I had the oppurtunity to meet Jordan at Bristol earlier this year. Very nice guy! Congrats Jordan on becoming the NASCAR News Source Camping World Truck Series Driver of The Year!

After years of wrecking in the Camping World Truck Series many never thought John Wes Townley would ever go to victory lane. That opinion changed in 2015 as his season was very consistent including coming to the checker flag for the first time at Las Vegas! John Wes Townley really showed everyone who he was and certainly will have a ton of momentum going into 2016.

Underdog Of The Year - Jordan Anderson
Jordan Anderson takes home 2 awards with this including his driver of the year award. Jordan Anderson proved to be a Underdog by Driving his own truck around town and working on it in his own time. That proves a real driver their that works on his own truck and knows what he is driving a few weeks later. Despite missing a few races Jordan really showed what he was made of in the races he did make.

Paint Scheme of The Year - Ray Black Halloween Special, Martinsville
This wicked looking paint scheme ran by Ray Black Jr. really showed that he can run something very different and make sure the crowd can see him by very impressive runs in the 2015 Season! Ray has tons of momentum going into 2016!

Race Of The Year - 2015 UNOH 175 at New Hampshire
The UNOH 175 was one of the most sucessful races of 2015. The 500th Truck Race was what got this race to the Race Of The Year. The Awesome finish with Austin Dillon heading to victory lane and GMS Racing getting their first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Win. Look for this race to live on to the Next 500 Races into the 1000th Race!

OMG Moment Of The Year
The big wrecks of 2015 Sweeped The OMG Moment's of The Year. Which we had at least 1 huge wreck in each series. The one in the trucks though happened at Kentucky in July when Ben Kennedy slid over the top of the wall into the catchfense ending that race at that moment. This was one of the bigger wrecks of 2015 and will one that will help shape the future of NASCAR.
