Ross Chastain moved to JD Motorsports for the 2016 Season which proved to be a great move. Ross has had a very successful run and It has been so successful that he will be returning to the team in 2016! Ross is backed sponsor wise by the National Watermelon Association among other Melonous Sponsors. Ross has drove the #4 car with sponsors like The National Watermelon Association, Watermelon.org, Flex Seal, among many other sponsors. Whenever Watermelon anything is on board the car is colorful and makes you 
want a watermelon which is what sponsor's want. Ross has had consistent finishes and even when he comes back after a bad finish he still wants more. 4 Top 10's so far in 2015 while being in 15th in points. Ross has certainly proved he is one of the next best drivers. The cars that Johnny Davis pits out are some of the best underfunded equipment you can put out there. Despite being an underfunded team this team is commonly competing against teams with higher budgets per week not only on Saturday but also on Friday. While JD Motorsports has had Ross they have qualified for the 2nd round of qualifying a total of 20 times over the season and for a team that does not have as much as lets say JR Motorsports or Roush Fenway Racing they continue to impress me and many Xfinity Series viewers! One thing that I think may help Ross is his teammate Landon Cassill who is a veteran in the NASCAR Xfintiy Series and has been in the highest of high rides and the lowest of low rides. Rides like 
Michael McDowell would say you would need a tetnis shot to get into.Next season with Ross having a solid ride with JD Motorsports look for this team to only get better from this season and heck who knows Ross may get his watermelon sponsor into victory lane!
