Continuing his momentum from Texas Jimmie won practice along with the pole for Sunday's race. Kurt Busch led the remaining chase contenders by qualifying in the 2nd position. Carl Edwards in 4th, Martin Truex Jr in 5th, Kevin Harvick in 8th, Kyle Busch in 10th, Jeff Gordon in 11th, Joey Logano in 14th, and Brad Keselowski in 18th.
