Brian Scott - Proving He Deserves To Be On Track With The Best in the Sprint Cup Series

Brian Scott made his Sprint Cup Series Debut at Charlotte in 2013 driving for Richard Childress Racing driving the #33 Shore Lodge Chevrolet SS Entry. In his debut Scott qualified 19th ahead of his teammate at the time of Jeff Burton. Brian would fall back to 27th but that qualifying effort would definitely show that Brian Scott can drive a Sprint Cup Series Car.
Brian has drove in the Xfinity Series for 7 years now with a victory just in grasp. Though not having a win in the Xfinity Series Brian still has 19
Top 5's and 76 Top 10's along with 5 poles. I think with that resume you should be a cup driver. Brian also has 2 career wins in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
In 2014 Brian Scott competed in 6 of the 36 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Schedule while also driving for Richard Childress Racing in the Xfinity Series full time. Brian qualified on the pole at Talladega shocking the world by winning the pole in the wildest of wild group qualifying. His best finish in 2014 was a 25th at the season opening Daytona 500.
In 2015 Brian would return to the 33 on a part time basis and would look to continue off the momentum from 2014. After missing the Daytona 500 Brian and the team would tell the world a message and that message was clear. Brian was here and he is going to race as hard as possible. At Las Vegas a best finish of 13th would come Brian's way proving that Las Vegas is just as lucky as they say it is. A string of bad to moderate finishes would continue for Brian Scott as going under Carl Edwards literally at Daytona.
Then Kansas would come with Ruby slippers for Brian as the team qualified 16th for the Second time in 2015. The team would hope not to duplicate there finish at Talladega, where they also qualified 16th, and Brian would drive his tail off. Brian raced all the way up to a 12th place finish awarding him not only just his best career finish but also The NASCAR News Source Driver Of The Week Honors. Brian and the team will look to come off that momentum from Kansas to today in Texas.
Looking at 2016 Brian Scott is looking to run full time for Richard Childress and run for Rookie Of The Year along with drivers like Chase Elliott and possibly Ryan Blaney and Chris Buescher!
