Joey Logano Burns Em Down In Charlotte, Chase Contenders Crash and Burn

Joey Logano won Sunday's Bank Of America 500 locking him into the Eliminator Round and saving the high blood pressure called Talladega. Defending Sprint Cup champion Kevin Harvick finished second in the Stewart-Haas Racing No. 4 Chevrolet. Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards completed the top six as Chase drivers swept the first half-dozen positions.
Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and Matt Kenseth all made contact with the outside wall. Busch wound up with a disappointing 20th-place finish, Earnhardt 28th and Kenseth 42nd, leaving all three with plenty of ground to make up in the next two Contender Round races -- next weekend at Kansas Speedway and the following week at Talladega Super speedway.
Last Weeks Driver Of The Week, Kevin Harvick, finished 2nd and began to climb the consistency ladder into the Eliminator Round. Look below for this weeks Driver Of The Week!

NASCAR News Source Driver Of The Week

We are proud to announced That with his consistent run today that Martin Truex Jr is the Driver Of The Week! Truex avoided a lot of the crashes and all of the non sense. Truex is now 3rd on the chase grid and like Harvick is now climbing the Consistency Ladder hopefully pushing him into the Eliminator Round. Truex has 2 wins at the Talladega Super speedway. Though in the Xfinity Series. Really look for the Furniture Row Chevrolet to win at Talladega or Kansas?
