The Contenders are left standing coming into Charlotte Motor Speedway. 12 Left Dover still with a shot  at winning the Championship. The difference from this year to last year was the fact that at this weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series went to Kansas first instead of Charlotte. Fights raged in Charlotte last season will the same happen this weekend? With 45 Cars on the Entry List 2 will go home. Michael McDowell must race his way in because he  is 44th in Owner points. The other with him is Timmy Hill in the #62 for Jay Robinson who is 45th in Owner points. If qualifying is canceled the 2 cars going home would be the #21 of Ryan Blaney and the #95 of Michael McDowell.
