Pocono announces The addition of an XFINITY race

Pocono Raceway Officials were happy to announce this morning that they would be adding a New Race to the already amazing lineup! The NASCAR Xfinity Series which will be entering its Sophomore season with Xfinity as the Entitlement Sponsor will enter "The Tricky Triangle" for the first time in Series History! The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series along with The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will Join the Xfinity Series with a weekend full of Racing Action around "The Tricky Triangle". Who will be the first driver to deliver a Pocono Xfinity Trophy to their Owner? The Axalta "We Paint Winners" 400 race weekend will be June 3-5, with the inaugural 250-mile Xfinity Series race on Saturday, June 4. The Xfinity race will mark the first time NASCAR's second-tier series has competed in Pennsylvania since 2004, when the series raced at Nazareth Speedway. Pocono's second NASCAR weekend is slated for July 29-31, with the Pennsylvania 400 Sprint Cup race on Sunday and the Pocono Mountains 150 truck race the previous day.
