Drivers Who Need A Shot at A Larger Ride!

In NASCAR there are many drivers who I feel need a shot at a higher money ride! These drivers are the ones who if put in a higher ride would do very well!

  1. Landon Cassill

Landon Cassill has certainly proved this season that he needs a bigger ride! Sunday in Pocono was just another day in the life of "Iron Cassill". The no. 40 car was unsponsored. Black with a yellow 40 decal on the sides and roof. Landon landed that ride in a 14th place finish! Landon has had an impressive season both in the Sprint Cup Series and Xfinity Series, Landon had a stint driving for Hendrick Motorsports in 2006 but since then hasn't drove for a high caliber team. I think if Landon Cassill got that 2006 opportunity again he'd be in victory lane!

       2. Michael McDowell

Michael McDowell has proven he can drive a race car in the past. Michael currently drives for Leavine Family Racing, a Team Penske affiliated team. Michael drove the no. 22 once last season at Kentucky where he finished 7th. Michael also raced the no. 20 at Iowa twice last season for Joe Gibbs Racing. Michael had a brief stint with Michael Waltrip Racing in 2008 where he was involved in a wreck that many remember Michael walking out of. He was replaced in that ride by David Reutiman. Michael hasn't had the oppurtunity to show his talent in the Xfinity Series yet this year but hopefully he'll get a shot at either Road America or Kentucky. Michael has a part in the owners championship in 2 years.

        3. Blake Koch

Blake is a very good racecar driver and I think if you put him in a top tier ride he'd be an excellent driver. Blake has drove for TriStar Motorsports for the past 3 years. He had one race in a Slightly Top Tier car at Homestead in 2013 for RAB Motorsports. At the time James Buscher was driving the 29. Alex Bowman put this car on the pole at Texas that year.

         4. Bobby Pierce

Bobby Pierce put the Mitler Brothers on their first pole position and even gave them their best finish ever. Though all of these were done on dirt I would really like to see what this kid could do on Asphalt.
