Chase Clinch Scenarios for Watkins Glen

Through the next few weeks The NASCAR Chase Grid will be taking its final shape. By September 13th, we will know who will be competing for the final NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship with Sprint leaving as the entitlement sponsor after this season. The chase begins on September 20th in Juliet, IL. Below is who has clinched and who can clinch this weekend in Watkins Glen.
With the exception of Kyle Busch, all drivers with multiple wins have clinched a spot in the Chase, assuming all start the remainder of the regular season races. That includes Jimmie Johnson with 4 wins, Kevin Harvick with 2 wins, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Matt Kenseth and Kurt Busch who all three have 2 wins each.
Kyle Busch can clinch his chase spot this weekend by racing his way into the top 30 in points. If a driver that has already won this season will help the single win drivers like Brad Keselowksi, Joey Logano and Carl Edwards by locking them into the chase. In fact all single win drivers will be locked in as long as they have clinched a Top 30 points.
Kevin Harvick can guarantee that the points leader at regular season's end has a win. If he leaves Watkins Glen with more than a 176-point lead over the highest non-winning driver which at the moment would be Jamie McMurray, it would guarantee the points leader after race 26 would have at least one win.
2015 is panning out to be just as competitive at 2014 was. Homestead is shaping up to be one of the best races ever but we gotta turn right before we can turn left into Homestead.
